What Jango does

Jango lets you describe a trading idea in plain language and turns it into an AI agent (a “bot”) that can research markets, run code, keep a schedule, and, when you connect an account and allow it, place and cancel orders there. Bots can trade in simulated money through Paper Trading or in real accounts you connect, such as brokerages, prediction markets, crypto exchanges, and wallets.

Features, supported services, and models change over time. We may add, change, limit, or remove parts of the Service, and a connected service may change or end its own access without notice to us.

No advice; no brokerage

Strategies, research, trade ideas, performance figures, and other output shown in the Service are general information produced from your instructions and available data. They are not a recommendation that any security, contract, asset, or strategy is suitable for you, and Jango does not review your finances, goals, or risk tolerance. Consult a qualified professional before making investment decisions.

Jango does not execute, clear, settle, or hold custody of trades. Your broker, exchange, or wallet provider does, under its own agreement with you. Jango does not accept deposits or move money into or out of your brokerage accounts. Nothing in the Service is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security or other instrument. Accounts at connected providers are not protected by Jango, and Jango’s services are not insured by the FDIC or SIPC.

Agents and your instructions

When you deploy a bot, you give Jango standing instructions to run it: to follow the strategy you approved, within the connected account, spend limit, and other settings you choose, including placing orders without asking you before each trade. Jango acts only as your technology provider in transmitting those instructions; it does not exercise its own judgment over your money.

• You are responsible for reviewing a bot’s instructions, venue, and limits before you deploy it, and for monitoring it while it runs.
• Spend limits and other safeguards reduce risk but can fail or be exceeded by market movement, fees, partial fills, venue behavior, or software errors. They are not a guarantee of maximum loss.
• You can pause, edit, or delete a bot at any time. Stopping a bot prevents new actions by it; it does not cancel or reverse orders a venue has already accepted, and positions it opened remain in your account.
• Orders can be delayed, rejected, duplicated, partially filled, or filled at prices different from what a bot expected. Jango is not responsible for how a venue handles an order.

Connected accounts

To let a bot use an outside account, you connect it through that provider’s authorization flow or by giving Jango access credentials such as API keys. You confirm that you are authorized to connect each account and to allow automated trading in it, and that doing so complies with the provider’s terms.

Jango stores those credentials to run your bots, as described in the Privacy Policy. Your relationship with each provider is separate from your relationship with Jango and is governed by your agreement with that provider, including its fees, which Jango does not set. Some integrations, such as agent wallets, let Jango sign transactions for the bot within the permissions you grant; fund them only with amounts you are prepared for the bot to use.

You can disconnect an account in Settings or revoke access at the provider. Disconnecting stops future access by Jango; it does not undo completed actions.

Paper Trading and demo accounts

Paper Trading and demo accounts use simulated money. No real assets are bought or sold, and results are hypothetical. Simulated fills can be more favorable than real ones because they may ignore queue position, liquidity, market impact, fees, and taxes. Past or simulated performance does not predict future results, and you must not present simulated results as real trading.

AI output

Jango uses AI models from third-party providers. AI output is generated automatically and can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or inconsistent, including about prices, positions, and whether an order filled. The same instructions can produce different results. Market data and news shown in the Service may be delayed or inaccurate. Verify important information independently before relying on it, and do not treat AI output as professional advice.

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Jango, and you must not be barred from using the Service under applicable law, including sanctions laws. Provide accurate information, keep your phone number current, and keep access to your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, including actions taken by your bots. Tell us promptly at support@jango.ai if you believe your account has been used without permission.

Text messages

Jango texts sign-in codes to the phone number on your account when you sign in. If you opt in to account alerts, Jango also texts that number about your account, such as low or used-up credits, paused bots, failed payments, and trial reminders. Account alerts are optional and not required to use Jango. Message frequency varies with your account activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop account alerts, HELP for help, or contact support@jango.ai. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Plans, usage, and fees

• Trial. New accounts receive a 30-day trial with a limited amount of included usage. The one-time signup credit is available once per verified phone number.
• Jango Pro. Pro is a monthly subscription (currently $20 per month) that includes a monthly usage allowance. It renews automatically each month until you cancel; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period unless stated otherwise.
• Usage. Running bots consumes usage for AI models, tools, and data. When included usage runs out, bots may pause until you subscribe or buy more usage.
• Live order fee. Jango charges a platform fee (currently $0.05) for each order a bot successfully places in a real-money connected account. Paper Trading orders are not charged this fee.

Current prices are shown in the app before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe, and you authorize us to charge your payment method for amounts you incur. Prices exclude taxes unless stated. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise in the app. We will give notice before a price increase applies to your subscription. Fees charged by brokers, exchanges, networks, or other providers are separate and set by them.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Jango to:

• break any law or regulation, including securities, commodities, sanctions, and anti-money-laundering laws;
• manipulate markets, spoof or wash trade, trade on material non-public information, or engage in fraud;
• access or trade in accounts you are not authorized to use;
• upload content that infringes others’ rights, is unlawful, or contains malware;
• interfere with the Service, bypass its limits or safeguards, or access it through automated means other than those we provide;
• reverse engineer the Service or extract its prompts, models, or source code, except where the law allows; or
• resell the Service or use it to build a competing product.

We may pause bots, limit features, or suspend accounts to investigate or stop a violation, protect users or third parties, or meet a provider’s or regulator’s requirement.

Your content and shared agents

You keep ownership of the prompts, files, instructions, and other content you submit (“Your Content”). You grant Penumbra Holdings Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, transmit, and display Your Content as needed to provide, secure, and improve the Service, and to share it with the AI and tool providers that run your bots. You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit Your Content.

If you publish a bot, template, profile, or results, other users and the public may view it, and other users may copy and run their own versions. You grant them a license to do so through the Service’s features. Shared bots and results reflect their creators, not Jango; Jango does not verify them, and following or copying another user’s bot is at your own risk.

Feedback you send us may be used without restriction or compensation.

Third-party services

The Service works with services we do not control, including brokers, exchanges, wallet providers, data sources, AI providers, and payment processors. Their availability, accuracy, security, and terms are their responsibility. Jango is not liable for losses caused by a third-party service, and a listing in Jango is not an endorsement.

Jango’s rights

Jango, the Jango name and marks, and the software and content we provide are owned by Penumbra Holdings Inc. or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service. Names and logos of connected services belong to their owners, and their appearance in Jango does not mean they endorse or are affiliated with Jango.

Ending your use

You can stop using Jango at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if required by law or a provider, or if we discontinue the Service. Deleting your account cancels any subscription immediately, without waiting for the billing period to end and without an automatic refund. When access ends, your bots stop; positions, holdings, and orders already accepted remain with your broker or provider, and Jango will not liquidate or move them. Sections that by their nature should survive — including fees owed, disclaimers, limits of liability, and indemnity — survive.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PENUMBRA HOLDINGS INC. DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT BOTS WILL BEHAVE AS INTENDED, OR THAT ANY STRATEGY, OUTPUT, OR DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR PROFITABLE.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PENUMBRA HOLDINGS INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY TRADING LOSSES, LOST PROFITS, OR LOST DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, YOUR BOTS’ ACTIONS, OR ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID JANGO IN THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR $100. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITS, SO THEY MAY NOT FULLY APPLY TO YOU.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Penumbra Holdings Inc. and its affiliates, officers, and employees against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the Service, your bots’ trading, Your Content, or your breach of these Terms or the law.

Disputes and governing law

Before bringing a claim, contact us at support@jango.ai and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Penumbra Holdings Inc. is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms. Updated Terms will appear on this page with a new date, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes in the app or by message. Continuing to use Jango after changes take effect means you accept them. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service; you may not assign them without our consent.
